María Durá is a Spanish artist born in Elche (Province of Alicante), 1983.

She graduated in Fine Arts from the Polytechnic University of Valencia in 2006, after which she continued training and learning alongside renowned artists such as Antonio López, Golucho and Andrés García Ibáñez, among others.

She has participated in various national and international exhibitions, both individual and group, throughout her career. She has also participated in national and international painting competitions, obtaining more than 200 awards and prizes.

Her works are usually inspired by nature. Due to her origins in eastern Spain, she has painted numerous themes with palm trees, flowers and plant themes in general.

Her work is found in numerous private collections around the world, in public institutions and museums. She currently lives and works in Elche.
