This elegant painting with a still life theme of flowers and fruits is painted in oil with a pictorial technique of glazes that achieves a fascinating transparency and subtlety in colors.

Tino Rusconi was born in Lecco in 1958, but has always lived in Bergamo (Italy). Since 1980 he begins to frequent the studios of the most important artists in Bergamo, from whom he learns the use of color and pictorial technique.
Thanks to the well-known Italian painter Gilberto Feruta, he discovered painting and began his work as a professional artist. However, Rusconi follows a personal search for his own style that leads him to the creation of themes that characterize his peculiar artistic expression, always linked to the charm of the figurative and in particular to the suggestions of the landscape.
Rusconi fundamentally makes still lifes and landscapes in oil with a pictorial technique of the highest level and difficulty due to the superimposition of layers of paint, also called "glazes" or transparencies that he has been developing and refining over the years and that confers on his works an elegance and subtlety in the colors very similar to that obtained with the watercolor technique.
His landscape paintings are very peculiar because he incorporates figurative details with portraits or faces into his works of architectural style, inspired by Italian cities and towns.
His paintings have an evanescent and mysterious atmosphere, the images appear on the canvas not with clear proofs, but through successive and disturbing veils that provoke in the observer's eye a curious effect of "there is and there is not". A kind of fog, more memorial than meteorological, veils each composition that, however, is perceived in all its richness of details.
