Critics point out that the highlight of his work is his poetic use of light and color. The theme is varied, with the predominance of the human figure, highlighting the female nudes, in which he idealizes women by wrapping her with poetry and tenderness. His lines denote the influence of Sorolla, Ribera and especially of Ressendi, his teacher. He already expressed it himself: «In my maturity I decide to approach the teachers and listen to their messages».
