Original painting spanish artist
Rafael Fuster Insa (1934)
Spanish painter born in 1934 in the Valencian town of La Font d En Carròs.
He began his studies at the prestigious Escuela Superior de Bellas Artes de San Carlos, in Valencia, obtaining a position as a drawing teacher in 1955.
From the beginning of his artistic career, and logically given his origins, Rafael Fuster oriented his pictorial style towards Valencian impressionism.
In his works we find a great technical mastery of the spatula, with a precise and decisive stroke. In rural landscapes, the luminosity and chromaticism of warm Mediterranean tones stand out.
His paintings with figurative themes, generally women and children playing on the beach, are very reminiscent of the influence of the universally famous Spanish painter Joaquín Sorolla.
His work has been exhibited in the best galleries in Spain, but he has also become known internationally in countries such as France, Germany, England, the USA, Mexico, Venezuela, London, New York (Maria Callas art gallery), among others… His work, oil paintings and watercolours reflect his surroundings, almost always nearby landscapes and with the Mediterranean light that has left such a mark on many artists.
He is an artist of exceptional quality and great sensitivity, without a doubt one of the best Spanish artists of today.
