David Escarabajal is a Spanish artist born in 1974 in the Province of Alicante.
Known internationally for his incredible works of art of urban landscapes, David Escarabajal Aguado has captured images of cities throughout Europe such as Paris, Milan and Edinburgh among many others on his paintings, finding inspiration in each city he explores on his travels.
Trained in interior design and with a degree in Fine Arts, David has an incredible ability to recreate in his paintings the architectural spaces that he captures in his urban landscapes. His innate sense of perspective allows him to precisely draw the lines and shapes of the buildings and streets of a city and, at the same time, his artistic academic training means that he can contribute to his avant-garde pictorial techniques such as abstraction and glazes or layers, as well as collage details.
David paints in oil, but with his own unique approach and results: his loose style and soft color palette seem to blur the lines for a final result between oil painting and watercolor. His energetic and expressive brushwork has been described as "drawing with paint".
In 1995 he obtained an SBC in Fine Arts at the School of Fine Arts and Crafts in Alcoy. He began to promote his work as an artist in Spain to later promote his work with great success internationally.
Since then, David has won many awards and accolades, both in art and interior design competitions. His work is in many private collections and galleries around the world, particularly in England, where his paintings are highly valued.
Buying works by this artist is a safe investment for the future due to its great pictorial quality and international projection.
