LARA BERNET

Spanish artist born in Antequera (Málaga) in 1944.

As a child, he expressed his artistic vocation, because at age 13, when he moved to Barcelona with his family, he already won his first drawing prize in a contest in the Barrio del Turó.

He works in different trades before entering the editor Bruguera, where he ends up working as a book illustrator.

At this time he already paints in oil and enrolls in artistic circles to paint and draw the natural always for free.

Bernet considers himself self-taught, his school is museums, art halls and his ability to assimilate everything he sees. Artist deeply influenced by Catalan painting especially by painters J. Wite, T. Llacer, whose workshop-school has recently frequented
